Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Olivine in 5 minutes

Welcome to Olivine

Olivine helps film and TV productions track expenses via SMS. Crew members text photos of receipts, and they automatically appear in your topsheet.

Step 1: Create Your First Production

1. From the Dashboard, click New Production

2. Enter your production name (e.g., "Untitled Feature Film")

3. Add a description and set your start/end dates

4. Click Create Production

Step 2: Add Crew Members

1. Go to your production and click the Crew tab

2. Click Add Crew Member

3. Enter their name and phone number

4. They'll receive an SMS to opt-in to the service

Step 3: Create an Envelope

Envelopes are like petty cash funds - each one tracks a specific budget.

1. Click the Envelopes tab

2. Click Create Envelope

3. Set a name (e.g., "Set Dressing Petty Cash")

4. Enter the starting amount

5. Optionally connect to Google Sheets

Step 4: Start Receiving Receipts

Once crew members opt in, they can:

1. Take a photo of any receipt

2. Text it to your Olivine number

3. The receipt is automatically extracted and categorized

That's it! Receipts will appear in your dashboard within seconds.
